Our software makes calls on behalf of our customers. For the data of the people called, the customer on whose behalf the call is made is responsible; we process that data on the customer's behalf.
Data we process and why
Visiting this website: the language you choose is part of the page address; the currency you choose is stored in a cookie (see below). Our network provider passes on the country a request comes from; we use it only to preselect the currency.
Enquiries through the form: the name, company, email address, phone number and message you enter. We store them to answer your enquiry and notify our team by email.
People called on behalf of a customer: phone number, call recording, transcript, the outcome of the call and details mentioned during it (for example name, company, role, email address, agreed next steps). For each agent, the customer decides whether recordings and transcripts are stored. To recognise speech, generate answers and speak them, the conversation is sent to the providers listed below.
Objections to further calls: if a person says they no longer want to be called, their number is added to the customer's block list so that it is not called again.
Customers: name, email address and login details (passwords only as a salted hash, optionally a second factor), and a log of changes in the account. Payment data is processed by our payment provider.

International data transfers
Legion Inc. is based in the USA, and most of our service providers process data in the USA (see the table). If you contact us from another country or are called by one of our customers, your data is therefore transferred to the USA.
Retention period
Call data of agents assigned to a customer account: the customer sets a retention period in their account; the default is 365 days. After the retention period, these calls are removed from the customer's account and kept in a separate archive for three years so that claims relating to a call can be clarified; after that they are deleted. We currently trigger both steps ourselves; they do not run automatically.
Calls of agents not assigned to a customer account are not subject to a retention period; they remain stored until they are deleted. Customers can delete individual calls or recordings at any time.
Enquiries through the form are kept while we are in contact with you; there is currently no automatic deletion period for them.
Backup copies of the system are made twice a day and kept for seven days.
Cookies on this website
This website sets one cookie, only for operating the site and without tracking: “legion_ccy” (the currency you chose), valid for one year. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing — in particular to further calls. Write to support@legioninc.com. If your request concerns a call we made on behalf of a customer, we forward it to that customer or handle it on the customer's behalf.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, for example under the privacy laws of US states.
